Connect Anduino offers a comprehensive platform for establishing bidirectional communication with microcontrollers via Bluetooth or serial port/USB connections, providing various configuration options. The application supports multiple features utilizing both communication methods, including IoT capabilities for remote device control over the internet.

Device connection is straightforward and user-friendly, facilitating seamless integration and management:

• Serial Port/USB Communication: Ensure your device supports OTG functionality and supplies adequate power. Configure the serial port in the settings menu by selecting your baud rate, parity, data bits, and stop bits.
• Bluetooth Communication: The app can automatically reconnect to the last paired Bluetooth device or allow manual selection from the options menu, with an auto-retry feature for stable connectivity.

Core Features Include:

1. Set custom button names and values; monitor sent and received data via the 'DISPLAY DATA' tab. Users can input commands directly for transmission.
   • Includes multiple escape sequence options selectable within the interface or specify escape sequences at the start or end of each data packet.
   • Data logging functionality allows saving transmitted data to a file (feature currently under development).
2. Control RGB LEDs or adjust LED intensity within a range of 0 to 1024.
3. Utilize a joystick interface for movement control, with parameters such as angle, power, X-axis, and Y-axis.
4. Transmit sensor data from the phone, including:
Accelerometer (with/without gravity) Gyroscope (with/without drift compensation) Rotation vector and scalar Magnetic field Gravity along each axis Device orientation: azimuth, pitch, roll
5. A graphing module supports plotting up to 2000 data points with both bar and line graph options. Future updates are planned to enhance graph features, including data saving and snapshot capabilities.
6. The GPS tab provides real-time data on latitude, longitude, altitude, speed, accuracy, bearing, UTC time, and connected satellite count.
7. The RTC tab fetches current date and time from the Android device with configurable refresh intervals. Currently formatted as HH:MM:SS:AA:DD:MM:YY.
8. The Color Sensor tab enables sending color data captured via the camera, effectively turning the device into a color sensor.
9. The Notification tab allows for custom notifications to be sent from the connected microcontroller (ending character '\n').
10. The RFID tab supports reading tags and cards (e.g., metro cards, Mifare, NDEF, FeliCa) if supported by device hardware. Data can be transmitted directly from RFID interactions.
11. The Proximity tab accesses the phone's proximity sensor for environmental detection.
12. The Speech tab offers direct voice communication with your microcontroller by activating the microphone interface.
13. The GSM tab transforms your phone into a GSM module for sending and receiving messages without additional hardware requirements.
14. You can save specific values within the 'SAVE-VIEW DATA' tab for quick reference by clicking save.

The application integrates an Arduino library available on GitHub (see the help section), with plans for a new Windows-based application in development. Users can customize the home screen tabs and switch to a new dark mode interface for improved aesthetics.

Further enhancements are anticipated in future updates, including WiFi connectivity and advanced customization options to facilitate comprehensive device control directly from an Android smartphone. Feedback is encouraged to guide feature development.
